With so many heated threads, I think it's time for a cake thread. I know there is a person or two that enjoy this delicious treat around here...
I'll start first: a slice of lemon cake with butter cream frosting that has the perfect dough to filling ratio from the celebrity cake studio in Tacoma.  |

Costco cheesecake is a good deal.

First Place: Homemade cheesecake with no toppings... My Missus makes the best.
 Second Place : Moist Carrotcake with cream cheese frosting... Needs to be homemade too. I can't stomach the plastcky commercial type cakes.  |

My two faves, cheesecake and carrot cake! Carrot cake was what we always had for my kids birthday parties until they found out it actually had carrots in it. That reminds me! I have always been treated to a big cheesecake on my birthday.
Not this past birthday though... Time to work on the puppy dog eyes and ask the Missus if the tradition has ended.  |
