Brooklyn Bros. Pizza in North Everett has pretty darn good pizza.

So I have a question too. I really like the wood fired pizzas with some charring of the crust. Who makes them like that around here? Hard to find!

Try mod pizza.
It is my current favorite, but I am also on a thin crispy crust kick. Tried to eat a slice of Garlic Jims pizza this weekend, tasted like a gob of dough.

Giorgios in Everett is pretty good, as is Brooklyn pizza.

If your ever in Arlington, try pizza from Rocket Alley. (But don't tell anybody else, place is getting to damn busy.)

Had BCP today at lunch. I like the crust on the mini lunch special pizza.

I like MOD for the most part. Their crust can be a little tough...

Does anyone remember Godfather Pizza? Had it as a kid when visiting family friends in Seattle. Was sad to see it went the way of the dodo

Lots of good mentions here.

Delancey is great, parking sucks. I've even taken some classes there.

Proletariat, as mentioned, is awesome. Great pizza, laid-back vibe, good beer...decent parking...go when it's still light outside :ROFLMAO:

One that is really good and is a fun day trip, is on Whidbey Island, called Village Pizzeria. It's in the Old Town Langley part of the Island, and the pizza is really good. Guy from New York opened it. Great salads, too. One of the best parts is, they have, like, 8 tables outside that are on a cliff and overlook Possesion Sound, Skagit Bay, & the shipping lanes...be patient if you want one of those tables. We'll get up on a Saturday, head over around 10, and usually can park close and get a table after a short wait.

Down the OP's way, Cloverleaf Pizza in Tacoma used to be really good. It takes a long time for their pizza to cook, for some reason I forget why, but it was worth it. Great beer selection. Went with a friend awhile back and it took so long to get beers, we said forget it, so.....

Also down there is Elemental Pizza, I've heard good things, but haven't been myself.

Someone asked about wood-fired....there is actually a mobile pizza truck that tows a 5,000 lb wood-fired pizza oven imported from Italy. It's called Stella Fiore, they have a website but stick mostly in the Seattle area, though thy've hit Farmer's markets all over, from time to time.

I'll have to try mod. The chicken cordon blue at BCP does not last long around here.

Bertoglios in Eatonville. Take n bake or Hot to go. Massive amounts of chunky toppings. Very good stuff. Take out only, no seating. Good folks. Outdoor seating tho so if your on the way to the mountain you can stop in and eat under the sun (if we ever get any!).

Flying Tomato in Graham is a good fancy-schmancy wood fired pizza. Not cheap, but with generous good quality toppings. My wife loves garlic and when we told them that, our pizza came with an abundance of (small) whole clove garlic. The wife and I loved it, the rest of the party thought it was overkill.

I almost forgot about Jenos on Main Street in Monroe. Not the wood fire style that I crave but pretty good pizza nonetheless.

Home made pizza is so many notches above ANY pie from a joint, it's not even fair to compare. The thread title allows it, I suppose. Just find a good a Italian deli and buy all your ingredients there. Some areas of USA, the deli even sells dough. Heck you can buy Trader Joe dough if you don't want to make your own. Make your pizza as you want. The only problem you will have is re-creating the EXACT pizza you made before. :peep: thumbsup
