Of Seattle but not Tacoma. They don't like Pierce County. http://www.kiro7.com/news/local/dicks-d ... /506402516Not a bad business model. Just a slow one. We might get one in 10 years on the east side.

Used to have one in Bellevue, closed in 1974 due to competition. More dick bags in Bellevue than were in the entire Dick's drive in.

Apparently the only reason the SOUTH option won was because Tacoma really wanted some Dick's. They didn't know South stopped at Federal Way.

Problem with Dick's is it is awesome post-drinking chow, but for lunchtime there are always way better options, even around the current locations.
Give me a steaming bowl of pho or a good taco truck over Dick's. None of those are available at 1 am though, at least not when me and my posse were on Broadway.

Quote: Possible south locations include West Seattle, South Seattle, Renton, Burien, SeaTac,Tukwila, Kent, Auburn, Normandy Park, Des Moines and Federal Way. Good gawd, nothing like narrowing it down a little.

The new one in Edmonds on 220th was a zoo when it opened until almost a year later.

The management seems kinda slow in the head. When you know people want your product you expand, tacoma and everett is money in the bank. Look at chic fil a.

Good gawd, nothing like narrowing it down a little. That's not SOUTH. That's just a few miles from their current location. South would be Tacoma, Olympia...

Dick's, In-n-Out are just crappy burger places. I'd rather see a Burgerville move up here than Commie-Socialist burgers from Seattle or California move anywhere close to Pierce...

Stopped by Dick's in Wallingford a few years back and can say I wasn't impressed. Most of the"you got to try it" burger joints I've been to haven't impressed me.
