I'm sipping some Jose Cuervo out of a whisky glass . . . let me 'splain.
I grabbed a whisky glass and went over to the liquor area, intending to pour some Evan Williams bourbon. I poured, went back to the couch, sat down and sipped. "WTF is this???" Yep, I guess my mind was on other things when I was doing the pouring.
But I tell ya . . . this stuff tastes pretty good.
Cuervo gets a bad name. It's really pretty solid for basic tequila. Although if I was expecting whiskey and drank tequila it'd be sprayed all over the couch
+1 and I found it a little later in life. Not bad.
At only $7 more a bottle than JD, it's well worth it
And my phone isn't ringing yet Poker parties , Knife parties Now a whiskey party Not feeling the love brother . Don't make me drive 5 min to your house, just to piss momma off, Call me sometime, maybe be able to get you some work.

Momma's pregnant and pissed off. You wanna feel the wrath of preggo? Go right ahead. My back yard is plenty big enough for unmarked graves.
Seriously though bud, next knife party will be coming up soon. Whiskey party is a party of 1 right now. Mama makes me drink alone. And poker? Ahhh, I remember those days. Sure was nice.
I'm in Hawaii (Waikiki) on vacation and just discovered Koloa rum from Kauai. The dark rum is incredible. Vanilla and burnt sugar like on a creme brûlée. Smooth as silk. Bringing back three bottles. The coconut is yummy too. Smooth and tastes like fresh coconut. Just one bottle of that.

I call this the 12th Man Tea, I made it up two years ago during our 12 Cocktails of Christmas. It's a twist on an electric iced tea, and it is all delicious.
The distinct flavors are the midori and gin. The rum, vodka, and other ingredients are less pronounced but give it the distinct tea taste.
Redbreast 12yr Cask Strength Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey.
A little hot, but to be expected at 114.4 proof.
Notes of apricot, green apple, banana, and baking spices burst through a slight haze of acetone. Non-chill filtered, so hazes up with a few drops of water. Water adds little to no improvement.
Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey is distilled from a mash of malted and green, unmalted barley. Similar to a single malt, but the use of the green barley gives the spirit a silky mouthfeel and a spicy character.
I'll give it 3.75 out of 5 stars.

That looks really good . . . and not just because of the glass. But the glass sure helps.
PBR! I remember about 12 years ago Consumer Reports did a blind taste test and said PBR was the preferred beer of all the judges. Bought a case, gave a beer to one of my employees who happened to stop by. He wouldn't even try it. Ran down to the store and bought some Blue Moon.
I fired him a month later, but for other reasons.
