Thia post could have been posted in the smoker thread since I started the burgers on the smoker then threw them on the gas grill to char them and melt the cheese.
Came out perfect.
Again, excuse the kid busted table and m&m plate. I was so eager to eat this I dished up the fries table side then put down the tongs and went to town lol I would have been all over that, looks damn good!

This right here. Plus I always wanted to try one of those easy Instant Pot Pad Thai recipes. Always held back because I didn't want to be disappointed when it came out like the McDonald's version of Pad Thai

NWGunner wrote: Nice! Tamarind!!! I hate ketchup-based Phad Thai. There’s a great place in Bellevue that offered 2 types of Phad Thai…one that people were used to, and ‘authentic’. We do our own these days, too I hate katchup too ever since i was little, it should be banned in the USA I had to try it and see if it came to the real thing. there was a thai woman and her daughter that had a small restaurant a mile down the roa.I would go in like 1 a week or 2 and order something different. then one day just gone. I don’t hate ketchup in general, it just doesn’t belong in Phad Thai. As far as the Instant Pot, it does some things great…I wouldn’t think Phad Thai would be one.

I use the word 'cook' loosely. I accidentally destroyed by nori sheets. So instead of California rolls, I made a California bowl. I tore up/ground the nori sheets into tiny pieces. Cut up chunks of avocado, and krab. Tossed it in a bowl with rice and added some hot mustard and wasabi, with a little bit of my spicy sriracha mayo....then mixed it all up. Yeah... I'm a simpleton compare to others on here..... but I picked up a bag of potatoes this week and I'm GOING to get thru them before the go bad. Roasted potatoes the other night.... had to see if I could still do this.... I would have done more, but I wanted to use my 'cute little cast iron'..... Attachment: 20240229_192630.jpg Worked out well since that small pan fit in the toaster oven for a final broil. Turkey from Tgiving.... FIFO. I had gravy I 'could' have use..... but it wasn't needed. Interesting…I’ve always seen, and done Hasslebeck potatoes in the oven, basting between the slices a few times during cooking…
